Stren Oilfield Products designs, manufactures and sells downhole tooling for the oilfield. These products include Stren Sand Control Products, Stren Gas Separation Products and Stren Completion Products, to date. Ongoing research and development in a number of related areas points to a bright future for this primary division. Areas of interest include downhole expandable tubulars and sand screens. Ongoing research into applications utilizing microwave and fuel cell technology promises new and innovative ways to enhance the recovery and production of in situ reserves. Development of new filtration technologies are aimed at a purer product.
Stren Engineering offers design and engineering services to a number of industries. Of course, the oilfield is a primary area of interest. However, pioneering work in fuel cell technology is ongoing in this operating division. Such services as parts and machine design and fabrication are also offered on a project or contract basis.
Stren Mechatronics provides automated solutions to the manufacturing industry. The primary focus of this unique operating division is the conversion of conventional manually operated platforms to full computer numeric controls, providing precision, control and efficiency that would otherwise be impossible. This is done at a cost that is a fraction of the purchase of a new CNC machine and provide purpose built value at a surprisingly affordable price.
